Trademark Infringement is defined as the unauthorized and illegal use of a trademark or service mark that leads to confusion between the original mark and a second mark.
Employment Check, Inc. has successfully investigated a number of Trademark Infringement cases dating back to 1997. These cases have involved multiple industries to include the manufacture of golf clubs, office supplies and pharmaceuticals. Some of those cases encompassed a region, while others were nationwide and in one instance worldwide.
Our investigators work closely with the manufacture of the targeted product to clearly understand the Trademark, Trade Dress and product packaging elements, of the product, to successfully identify products that are not genuine.
These cases are typically overseen by the Manufacturer’s Legal Counsel to ensure all information garnered is under the umbrella of Attorney Work Product. All reports and evidence generated by Employment Check, Inc. is directed to Legal Counsel to meet that end.
